Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern the use of the web-based software "Travio" (the "Service"), operated by:

Travio is a SaaS tool for individuals to manage residential construction and renovation projects — capturing and organising documents, invoices, photos, and defect reports. To simplify data entry, uploaded documents may optionally be analysed by AI-assisted features (e.g. automatic recognition of invoice amounts, dates, and vendors). Processing takes place exclusively on our own EU infrastructure.

The service is currently in a free private beta phase. During this time:

• No SLA is provided.
• Features may be changed or removed at any time without notice.
• Access is limited to invited beta users.
• The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or updates.

Travio is not liable for downtime, data loss, or other damages resulting from beta use.

Registration is required to use the service. You are obliged to keep your credentials confidential and to notify us immediately if you become aware of any misuse of your account. One account per person is permitted.

The service is intended exclusively for personal, private construction projects. The following is prohibited:

• Uploading unlawful, offensive, or copyright-protected content without authorisation
• Automated access (scraping, bots) without explicit permission
• Attempting to compromise the security of the service
• Sharing credentials with third parties (excluding project members as permitted by the platform's sharing function)

On account deletion or termination due to a violation of these Terms, all your project data (documents, photos, notes, invoices) is permanently and irreversibly deleted within 30 days. We recommend downloading important documents beforehand.

All uploaded content remains your property. You grant Travio a limited, non-transferable licence to technically process your content (storage, display, backup), which terminates on account deletion.

Travio is only liable for damages caused by intent or gross negligence. Liability for minor negligence, indirect damages, lost profits, and data loss is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

As the service is in a beta phase, please note that no guarantee is given for the completeness, accuracy, or permanent availability of stored data. Important original documents should always be kept in a separate, secure location.

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users by email. Continued use of the service after amended Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Austria, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). The place of jurisdiction is — to the extent permitted by law — the registered seat of the operator in Austria. For consumers, the applicable jurisdiction is the consumer's place of residence (§ 14 KSchG).
